Percy L.G. Herold
Percy Herold a.k.a Percy “Da SuperTroop” Herold is an American SuperTroop, computer programmer and master carpenter. He is the owner of PLGH Advisors (http://www.plgh.com), an American based computer software company. He is also owner of Antiques by Prestige, the online presence of Prestige Refinishing Shop of Houston, Texas (http://www.antiquesbyprestige.com).
Percy began his computer programming career at the age of 13. His first computer was Laser 128 an Apple II clone manufactured by VTECH purchased by his mother for his birthday. He took his first official computer class at Von Stueben M.S.C. high school on Chicago's North side, where he graduated in three years, and the rest is history.
During the mid-1990s, Percy embarked on his journey of becoming a Master Carpenter when he started helping out his Uncle Sherman in his showroom then located at 248 W. Gray street in Houston’s historic “Fourth Ward” now commonly known as “Midtown”. He started out greeting customers and making deliveries. Gradually over the years, his talents grew in learning the trades of upholstery, refinishing and woodworking.
Percy Herold is a graduate of the Northwestern University’s department of Psychology with a focus on Neurobiology and Behavior and a U.S. Army veteran (Field Artillery). In December 2017, Percy completed a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
